  1. in a free market society nothing, if its profitable someone will take off with this idea. and if your worried about alternative energy don't it will solve itself since there's only 30 years of oil left. don't expect gas prices to drop in fact In a couple of years expect $5 a gallon in the us to be the norm before that though it will become profitable for ethanol and bio diesel plants and expect them to be cellulosic not corn.

  2. they should put remote controlled thermostats in every house & set them at 80 degrees in summer & 65 degrees in winter.I think they should start with YOUR HOUSE. limit every car to 25 gallons of gas per month so you will have to ride the bus. yes I think they should start with YOUR CAR.

turn off all street & parking lot lights at 9:00 every night, start on YOUR STREET of course.

or they could just nuke china with its 1 billion people & all those smoke spewing coal fired power plants so we dont have to change our lifestyle. this would have the added benefit of several years of global cooling from the nuclear winter effect.

personally I just do what my grand parents did ,I tell my grandchildren that we dont have bad winters like we used too, thank god. I expect thats what people have been doing for the past 10,000 years since global warming started.

enjoy the warmer weather while it lasts & be thankfull its not global cooling.

  3. Since aircraft are the only man-made climate change source proven, by the actual removal of the emission source, start capping flights and stop over the top (arctic flight routes-#1). Use sustainable solutions for environmental, economic and long-term transportation needs.

(The temperature had an immediate and dramatic change, when aircraft are removed from the atmosphere. When the aircraft were grounded for 3-4 days after 9-11, the temperature quickly and generally reverted back to pre-1950's temperature records, before the jet age.-#2 )

  4. They should make grant recipients monetarily responsible for their predictions.

  5. WORKIND AND HE MUST RESPECT THE OTHER COUNTRIES

    I AM FROM ARGENTINA

AND YOU ARE KILLING MY PLANET

  6. Climate change is the new church. It's a theory established in blind faith, and capitalised on by testament of fear.

  7. without a doubt -

influencing architects and encouraging industry to invest and produce low cost / affordable shelters, SAFE energy and alternative transport systems

that are all waterproof i.e. weatherproof

    to help ensure our survival.

  8. change the usage of the highway and rail systems and only use small electric cars. people will laugh in the next century about all the effort and war etc. that took place to keep the petroleum-based internal engine going as long as possible. that could all be done very quickly and change things. people are sheeple, however.

  9. Force the fossil fuel industry to stop their monopolistic practices so alternative enrgy and energy efficient products can reach the consumer markets on a large scale.

That is about al that's really needed. Oil and coal are outmoded technologies dating from the 1800s. They should have been scrapped years ago for purely economic reasons. They can no llonger compete in a free market without government protection to maintain their monopolies.

  10. Nothing, the government should stay out of this and let the market handle it.  Government programs ALWAYS create more problems than they solve (this is known as the Law of Unintended Consequences).

  11. Ban the chemicals being discharged from Aircraft in the guise of vapour trails

Sometimes referred to as "Chem Trails"

It can be clearly seen with binoculars these aren't coming from any engine They are coming from the side of the plane

  12. The government is all ready Taxing us as much as possible.

  13. Tax GHG emissions to internalize the external costs.  We have laws about "creating a nuisance", this is just a global nuisance.

Fix regulations and override covenants which prevent people and companies from doing the right thing.  If someone wants to put a solar water heater on their roof, no neighborhood or condominium association should be able to say no.

    "Name and shame".

  14. there is nothing they can do, man isn't big enough to even think about taking on mother nature
