  1. your question is way to vague, because all sorts of existing climates have their own amount of humididty in them already. where I live now the typical humidity stays around 10% - 20% all the time, where as my last placed I lived in FLa the humidity was always around 80%.

So where do you live, ?  it may help with answers.

it is also  true that you can control the humididyt in your home by having items that will add humididyt in your home and take it away.

It depends alot on your own comfort level , but my guess is that a range of 10% to 30% is comfortable

  2. Between 30 and 50% should be average.  It's hard to breath if it much lower.  All sorts of thing could occur health wise if it's too low.

  3. The ideal humidly for your home would be 30 to 50% anything above 60%  will encourage mold and mildew to grow, anything below 30% will dry out your skin and increase static electricity.  You can buy a inexpensive hygrometer to determine the humidity in your home.

    Good Luck

  4. 40 - 50%. Under 40 dries out furniture and also your nasal passages. It also causes static electricity to shock you when walking across carpeted areas. Over 50 can cause mold to grow.

  5. 40-50 % RH
