When it's our put in, I know my aim is to get a shove and lift my opposition tight head to help my hooker. What should I be aiming to do on the opposition put in? More of the same or should my tactics be different?

  1. You need to get in on the tight head and put pressure on his sternum, you do this and he will have to concentrate on you rather than your hooker, get low, shoulders in front of your hooker, and bind tight, make sure your twos are in, look through your eyebrows, touch, pause, engage and treat every scrum as a momentous occasion and remember loose head is probably the most aggressive position on the pitch.

  2. Try to do the same but knock thier hooker a little (just don't get caught!)
