The general consensis is that they should be known as the Gold Coast Sharks and wear blue and gold, but I think this will clash too much with West Coast. In this case, I wouldn't mind seeing a lighter and darker shade of blue along with grey. You can see a lot of different guernsey and logo designs on some of the footy forums - I hope if any get used that the designer collects some royalties!

Then again, I would rather see a Tassie team - I am pretty sure that we could fill a stadium more easily than them even if we do have a smaller population! Some of footys biggest names hail from Tassie.

They should be called the "Skaifes" cause they will disappear in a few years and no one will know where all the money went

The k***s running the AFL will support them financially to start them up, that money has to come from somewhere and it will be the average footy fan, ever wonder why it costs so much to go to the footy? and why any AFL merchandise is WAY overpriced. The season draw is stacked so they can maximise sponsorship dollars to the point it is now unfair for all clubs, I realise it has to be run as a business but the AFL is treating the loyal traditional supporters and clubs very poorly I think they are out of touch and should start listening to their most important asset, the faithful supporters who put the game into the premier position it is now

Serious answer,   Gold Coast Dolphins,  colour-predominately Gold(of course)  with Green(for the hinterland and mountains near by)  GCFC on the front, Green bands around the sleeveless area.  Shorts could be Green and the socks green and gold hooped.

Now my smart as%# answer, the gold coast bears because they will have as much success as the bears, probably they will wait for another AFL club to fold so they can pinch their players as Brisbane did.  The other name is Gold Coast DODO'S cause they will go the way of the dodo bird in a few years, EXTINCT!!
