  1. Have you vacuumed and cleaned out under it and in back of it.....the coil systems need to be clean.......and about 34 d's is the right number for cooling.......all the best

  2. 34-40 degrees is acceptable.

It could be heavily frosted up.You may have to empty it,unplug it,and leave the doors open for a day if nothing else works. When you plug it back in it will probably be fine.

  3. If the fresh food compartment is warm you sound like you have a defrost problem, this is very common. The only thing you can do to see if that is the problem is to turn off the box for 24 hours with doors open. If it works OK for5-7 days then acts up again that is what is wrong. One of the three defrost parts is bad, defrost timer, defrost thermostat, or defrost heater. Leave the controls set in the middle turning it to coldest settings will not help. check temp in the ff compartment by measuring load temp the food or water not air temp.

  4. 38 to 40 is OK  on average but don't open it to check it very often or it will go up more..The answer about cleaning out is a good one.Turn your refrigerator control a little colder than mid way and if it has a freezer control set it a little warmer than midway to let more cool from freezer. In hot weather this adjustment should help on most models.
