What should u do if u are in a self defence situation and u kill the guy?

don worry not a killer just curious it always worried ,ee if this happened an i get in trouble should i tell the cops should i wait till im asked

u better tell the cops cause u sure as h**l r not running away. if you want to insure they dont diegrap there throt and push in

You should get a good criminal attorney.  He will know how to defend you properly.  Some attorneys give free initial consultations.

Depends, if the guy was in your house as an intruder, you don't have to worry. That is condidered "open season." If, the guy was on the street then it is more tricky. If no witnesses then as far as the cops are concerned it was a fight where you killed the guy. In that situation, I would properly dispose of the body to avoid any legal consequences.

You should (still) call the police immediately.  Be honest about what happened.  If it was really self defense, you would be fine, though you may get arrested anyway.

Asking more than once doesn't change the answer.

If there are witnesses and it's a public place then you were perfectly in your rights to do so if it was deemed an extreme threat to you or the people around you. If it was on your property, then again yes you were in your rights to do so if you were assaulted or protecting your family or something similar.

However if it was neither of the above, no one saw and it wasn't on your property I'd probably guess you're screwed unless the guy has some sort of violent history and criminal record which then they would rule in your favour.
