What should we call the in-progress depression?

The Great Emperor's Depression after Anderson's tale about the vain and naked leader and his let's pretend people; or my own label and choice the Great Ostrich Depression for all the people with their head in the sand.

The first would be the G-ED for short while the second would of course be the G-OD. I suppose we could make it the OmG Depression and move it to the Yahoo entertainment page.

Best suggestion will earn ten flat points. Maybe Yahoo should bump the 10/2 system by the current rate of inflation. Don't have the figures right in front; but it might be close to the magic work number ---- 24/7.

ps. I know this isn't a 'real recession' but that's because the bar and definitions are changed to control public perception.
