What should we do in Barcelona?

Question

Some friends and I are going to a resort 2 hours south of Barcelona for 5 days, after which we'll be spending 3 days in Barcelona itself. What should we do during those 3 days? We're in our late 20s-early 30s but there is also a 2 yr old child with us. Thanks.

Go to EL BARRI GOTIC you will find many things to do around there, walk around Ramblas , visit the Cathedral, the Roman city  (great visit the old roman city is under the cathedral) , go to the Picasso Museum , restaurants in the area are great. HAVE FUN

Stay in or near the Ramblas or in the Gothic Quarter just to the east. This is a good base from where you can explore the city's sights by day including Gaudi's masterpiece, the unfinished Sagrada Família Cathedral, and Parc Güell in the north.
