  1. For better service in Railways the governemt should hand over the management to good private companies

  2. our Indian railways should be given financial resources and need one person who can administrate railway better

  3. I think Indian railways is doing a fantastic job. although the Indian public should help railways in providing better services by :

Keeping the platforms and bogies clean, not littering waste here and there.

Crossing unmanned junctions after proper Surveillance.

Travelling in trains only after puchasing proper tickets.

Not pulling chains without proper reasons.

  4. ask our   honourable  minister  mr  laloo   p yadav.   you  know  he  is  running  our railways  on profit. railways  is the public property  we should not damage.   you should buy  appropriate ticket   for your travel.  plan your travel

  5. First no matter where you live except England,France, and Germany most systems are Two small or non existent. 1st all railways and companies should belong two one company.2ND they should all receive a Major overhaul track, signaling, etc.3rd they should all be electrified and time tables should be adjusted two meet a unified rail schedule. After this they should run efficiently.

  6. take feedback frm de people traveling quite often.

  7. For making an overall improvement in the services in railways, the railways and the public must join hands. I have a few suggestions.

    1. Punctuality must be maintained at any cost. Most of the time, most of the trains run late and there are no dearth of excuses. Late running of trains in Indian Railways are a rule rather than an exception. In case of late running of trains, passengers must be financially compensated by refund of part or whole of the fare depending on the degree of lateness.

    2. Although railway fares are claimed to be highly subsidised, it is still a bit on the higher side for the majority of the large number of poor people of India. There is room for some rationalisation in this area. Also, some people, other than season ticket holders, commute frequently on business or other purposes. Assured reservations and concessions on the lines of "Frequent Flier Programmes" of airlines should be introduced for them. Fines are imposed as penalty for ticketless travel. This has bred corruption of the worst kind with Ticket Checkers/Collectors pocketing a consideration and forgoing the fine. A system, preferably electronic, should be put into place whereby the tickets are checked before a passenger embarks and at the point of exit, in the lines of the Kolkata Metro Railway. Needless to say that this will ensure greater compliance and reduce corruption.

    3. Railway stations must be made a place which provides a pleasant experience to passengers. They must be clean and aesthetic. Commuters should fulfill their responsibility to keep it clean. Different aspects of beautifying railway stations can be entrusted to private companies.

There are other areas of improvement too, no less important. But let us make a start with these and come to them later.

  8. we  cant do anything

the rialway department  and the authority should carry intiative to provide good and better service  to the public.

there should be major change reuqired in railway dept.

privatisation should be given a chance. as government is lazy and careless.
