What should we do when the setup button doesn't work on "finalize the disc'' option in a camcorder?

i have a SAMSUNG Digital cam SC-DC164 which is not in the market now. Iam unable to finalizing the discs. I know how to finalize but,the setup button is not working only on 'Finalizing' and 'Unfinalizing' options. Its working on other options like date,light,format changing and everything.

You could get hold of DVDDecrypter (it's free) and use Tools / Drive / Close and then Track, Session and Disk.

If that doesn't work you could look at a DVD recovery app like ISO Buster and see if that can rip the DVD.

Firstly, you may not need to worry - some standalone DVD players can cope quite happily with discs with open/multi sessions, just try popping it in yours and see if it plays.  If not, get the disc to a PC with a DVD writer, get hold of a copy of NERO Burning ROM, using that you will be able to close the session on the disc and finalize it.
