If you think we should change our name for those countries you should just get out. We'd never change our name for mexico or canada. they can be a big state if they want

We don't have a country now. We do have a confederation of nation-states called United States of America under the Articles of Confederation and Perpetual Union. There is also a corporation called United States based in Washington DC under what's been called the United States Constitution.

The dirty little secret of the lawyers in congress is to allow people to give up their God-given rights under state constitutions in favor of government granted civil rights under the US constitution.  This way the government can take away your so-called rights at any time.

Since so few understand this, the new name should be Doomed. Another word beginning with "F" would be even more appropriate.
