  1. The Pope is a good person to visit. I'm sure he can find time to meet up. There's a great coffee bar he favours, just by the Spanish Steps.

  2. The Vatican, and Vatican museums, Colosseum, Fontana di Trevi and Spanish steps or Piazza di Spagna.

  3. Vatican city is a must umm also there's a nice Chinese restaurant south of the main train station ^_^ see the coliseum also.

  4. It depends on what your interests are.  If you enjoy Roman history then the Coliseum, the Forum and the Palantine hills are a must.  If you like art then a trip to the Sistine Chapel and St. Peters is the way to go.  Since you will only be there for two days I would select based on your interests.

  5. You definitely shouldn't miss the ancient Roman ruins - the Colosseum, and the Roman Forum are the main ones. A tip: Buy your ticket for the Colosseum when you buy it for the Forum, and skip the queues into the Colosseum.

    Have a nice time.

  6. It's possible to spend an entire week in the Vatican museums AND a life time to discover Rome... do a full day there and then next the area around the Coliseum.

  7. Definitely go to the Santa Maria Maggiore, the Roman forum, and the Fontanta di Trevi. Mostly I reccomend just walking around the different piazzas and stopping into gelaterias and cafes that you see. There is no limit to the beauty in that city!

  8. the vatican

  9. The Vatican, Sistine Chapel (by the way this is one little room in a huge building, I was looking for a little chapel - wrong). The coliseum with all it's cats, Trevi fountain...

By the time you leave your brain will probably be in serious overload. So much to take in in so little time, I was there for 3 days and it left my head spinning. Visually overwhelming.

  10. You could visit Fontana di Trevi,(put a coin and a wish for me too) and the Vatican. I`m sure The Pope it`s unavailable for us "common people" .Is occupied.

  11. the Coliseum, the leaning tower of pesa

, St peters basilica ,.the Vatican

  12. The Coliseum is a must, as is St Peter's Square/The Vatican and the Spanish Steps.  The Trevi fountain is very popular too..
