What should you buy for a college dorm?

I am a senior in High School, and I know it's early to start thinking and preparing for college, but i was wondering if anyone could tell me what to buy / bring to college? (in general...) (dorm wise)

Normally the school provides you with a bed, dresser, chair, fridge, etc... all the big stuff.

You will need a laptop, but don't buy one yet because it will be outdated by then... wait for the "back to school" sales next July/August/September before you go. You will also need a comforter/sheets for your bed, maybe a microwave if you're too lazy to walk down the hall or share... lol.

A small (mini) fridge

A lamp (overhead lighting is usually gross in dorms...do a standing lamp or a desk lamp...you'll also need it in case your roommate wants to sleep and you're up studying or something)

A laundry bag

Under-the-bed storage

Bed raisers

TV (optional)

Printer (optional)

Internet cable (unless your dorm has wireless)

You won't have room for a couch or loveseat or large chair or anything like that.
