  1. Turn your brights on.

  2. If the vehicle is more than 500 feet away, give them a quick flash of your brights to notify them.  Keep in mind that you are blinding them just as much as they are blinding you.  Therefore, make your flash quick.

If you are within 500 feet, flashing your brights is not advisable.  This could blind the driver and could cause an accident, and possibly a head on crash with you.  Instead, just let it go and advert your eyes.  Keep your eyes on the road, but don't look directly into the light.  What you can do is focus on the right side of the road (either where the road meets the dirt, or if there's a line).  This allows you to still see the road, but not looking directly into the light.

  3. flash yours at them, a lot of times people just forget that they have their brights on and by flashing yours, they realize that they need to turn theirs off.

  4. Look slightly away until it passes.............

  5. Switch your brights on for a second, then off...that alerts them that they have their brights on...most of the time people don't realize it.

  6. Look to the right...a good guidline is the line painted on the side of the road.  That way, you won't get blinded and you won't go off the road!

  7. make yours brighter

  8. There is a right way to do it, but the funny thing is that when someone's brights are on, I tend to stare right at them - I don't know if other people experience the same thing as me or not.

My dad actually was in a very bad accident many years ago due to bright lights... the person he was traveling with decided it was best to retaliate by giving his brights back to the oncoming driver. When the other driver crossed over the center line because he was blinded, they hit head on and both of my dad's legs were broken.

    I digress...

When I took driver's education class, I was taught to flash your brights on and off once just in case they have forgotten to dim their lights and then track your position on the road by watching the white line on your side of the road so you aren't looking directly into the bright lights.  this keeps you from being temporarily blinded.

  9. Lets honest most of us,  blink our brights at them,  if you choose to do this, please do it a ways back,  dont wait till your right in their face,  that just blinds everybody and that is dangerous,  but now,   You should divert the eyes aside, and you should just look to the white line down the side.    But we all know we dont do it, * LOL *   good luck

  10. Flash your full beam for a second...if that fails drive head on towards them. .......  they usually move out the way.......sometimes

  11. try flasing your brights a couple of times they may not have been paying attention to what they were doing and forgot to dim theirs

  12. Look at the right "White Line" of the road...  As tempting as it may be you should also dim your lights- that way atleast one driver will be able to see!

  13. try flashing your brights at them for a couple of seconds.

  14. Do a quick flash of your brights as you move toward them; they will get the hint. Also, look a little to the right so you aren't blinded.

  15. The acknowledged behavior is to switch your own lights to bright and then to normal; thus telling the other car that they need to check their brights.

It is illegal to drive with your bright lights on in most urban areas in the US, just because of this kind of problem.

  16. Flash your bright lights at them!

  17. If they are still far away quickly flash yours to alert them that they have their high-beams on. If they continue as they are with there brights are it is a good idea to avert your eyes to the white line on the side of the road. This allows you to still drive safely without getting blinded by their brights.

  18. street justice pull out your loaded 45 and shot them out lol
