Stroke it, say hello, and where did you come from ? Only man who has over the years invaded their habitats, has created this love hate relationship between man and beast. As I have remarked before the Animals were on this Planet before the human species, and are more entitled to it than we are.

talking about lions, I was sent the other day the most terrifying video on You Tube.....  a man being attacked, mauled and then eaten by a lion.

So your question  "What should you do if you come across a lion" -- I think the best thing is NEVER to come across a lion in the first  place.

stay still? that would be my best bet.

they are more scared of you then you are of them. If you charge at them they'll attack in defense, and if you run, they're instinct will kick in like.."prey!".

So i'd just stay still until they pass....

some ppl say to yell at them like "get out of here, go!."

but i wouldn't take that chance. haha
