What should you do with a bad teacher?

I'm studying a foreign (a Latin language) language at night school. I don’t have much confidence in my Teacher. First of all she keeps referring to me as you but she calls all the other students by their first name. A couple of weeks ago I was supposed to sit a test to be diagnosed for dyslexia (through my own enquires) yet she did not give this information to me. I only found out from a third party on the off chance. She does not have a strong enough grasp of English to explain things clearly and is not very patient if a student is struggling.

She often gets her own answers wrong and mixes up lesson content.

With exams coming up in Feb I’m wondering whether to move to another class or ask to start a new subject. I have written to the head of the college their solution was that I should move class

I wonder whether this would jeopardize my chances of passing with a good grade.

The next teacher might be just as bad since the college can offer no guarantees

What should I do?

  1. Well this is what you can do

    1. approach her after class and explain to her about the difficulties your facing and how shes been contributing to them

    2. Threaten her with a baseball bat

    3. Listen to  your ipod during classes and flunk the subject .

    Cheers .

  2. having been to college a fair few times now, i think that your best bet would be to move class, it too late in the school year to start a new course, and maybe this new teacher might very well surprise you, and you can always to be given extra work to do in your own time to catch up.....why start all over when you have paid for this course....good luck and let us know the out come

  3. personally i think you should take a big we sloppy pile of fish, and throw it in his face, then swiftly slap him in the face with a table...

  4. move classes. Put it in writing to a senior what you have experienced. Not good enough in my book.

  5. Find out what teacher you would have if you moved. Ask their students what they think of their teacher. If you get a good response, or if the teacher just sounds better then the one you currently have, then switch classes. The head of college should talk to your teacher. Something needs to be done about her. She should get the sack if she's really bad. Write to the council of eduction.

  6. adjust.and work hard, make good friends in the class so that they will support u.
