What should you eat after being sick?

I was sick last night/ this morning. about 6 times. what should i eat?

  1. water, vegetable broth (if you are a vegetarian)


  2. dry toast

    rice porridge

    apple sauce

    take your pick

  3. Hot tea with honey.

  4. You must take some light food.in India we prefer a dish called Khichdi. It is made of Green Gram  and rice.

    Method

    Take rice and half quantity of Green Gram (Moong Daal). Add water  double of total rice and daal.quantity . Add pinch of salt and cook in pressure cooker,

    Its very light and good food for the person who sick.

  6. You should keep your body hydrate so have more soup(which is clear, not the creamy ones)

    have more of the nutritional foods such as fruit and vegetable, and more protein will help a lot, so eat more of the white egg, not the yolk!!!!

  8. Crackers but only if you feel up to it. It is more important to keep hydrated so drink plenty of water.

  9. You should first visit a doc or the ER. Throwing up six times (which can lead to severe dehydration) in less than 24 hours can be a sign of something more serious.  

  10. You might want to hold off on solid food for a while and drink flat soda or ginger ale, or sip some clear broth. Once you're certain you're up for solid food, avoid sugar and fat. Dry crackers and plain toast are both good options--remember not to cover the crackers and/or toast with jelly, butter, peanut butter, etc, as this might upset your stomach a little bit more.

  11. the BRAT diet...bananas, rice, applesauce, toast.  Easy to digest.

    If you've been throwing up, drink warm broth or stock with some salt to replenish your sodium.

    i would say yes but very little and if so, have lots of liquids as well and just healthy food

    ginger ale, and sprite are good for settling the stomach

    try to eat things like hot chicken noodle soup or a cold yogurt
