    Farewell speeches do not need to be excessively formal, but should treat the reason for saying good-bye with dignity and honesty.A farewell speech to friends is awesome and should acknowledge sincere gratitude, friendship, graciousness regarding the splitting and a little bit of humor to lighten any sadness.

    The speaker should reflect on special memories shared amongst all, stay positive and leave on a hopeful note.
