  1. retardation

  2. Forgot some other big name golf schools, like

Arizona state, Georgia Tech, Oregon, Oregon St. USC, UCLA, and so on.

Being a D1 player myself for one of these mentioned, we really look for players that are lower than 0.  To make the team last semester, you had to shoot -10 over 3 days.  However, there was only three spots open, and one was already given to a scholarship.  If you really wanna play D1, you have to be a zero or better, but you have to do it on the hardest courses out there, under tourny conditions with no caddy and no spotters telling you where your ball is.  It is an entirely different type of golf.

    Good luck..

  3. You should be a scratch golfer.....or as they say in the golf world and 0 handicap.

  4. You will find that the majority of Division 1 colleges want players whose handicaps are scratch(0) or better. In other words the player is capable of shooting under par every round on every course. Schools in that category Florida, Fla. State, Georgia Tech, Wake Forest, Arizona, Stanford, Arkansas, Oklahoma.
