If a US Military man marries a national, has a baby on base during a tour in that country, what would the baby's certificate state as to the place of birth? This would be in the early '60's.

  1. It would say the place of birth, name of the hospital/city/state/country.

the baby may not need to naturalize if the parents were married at the time of birth.

May be a citizen of U.S. already.

  2. The baby must be a US citizen because the birth occurred at a US base which is considered as an extension of the US territory in another country.

  3. it would have to state the name of the  hospital ,location, country , city .

    father's birth information , mother's birth information .

are you perhaps referring to the child citizenship (person) ?

if it is the case ? do come back ......
