What show should I take my parents to when they come to visit in a couple weeks?

NOT Cirque du Soliel, I didn't like the one I saw and knowing my parents, they wouldn't get a kick out of that type of thing either. They are both in their early 50's.

Any shows with discounts for locals that are good? Any others that don't have a discount but are just wonderful and worth it?

  1. Some men don't like Mama Mia.

All of the LV restuarants that are part of the Lettuce Entertain you group are great. The eiffel tower and Mon Ami Gabi at the Paris. Cafe Ba-ba-Reeba , Stripburger, and Maggiano's at Fashion Show Mall.

    - Rita Rudner is very funny, and the show is much less expensive than other Vegas shows.

  2. It's got to be Phantom of the Opera at the Venetian-fantastic show worth every cent of the asking price (which isn't cheap). To save money book with one of the discount ticket agencies, I have done this twice and saved a fair amount on the ticket prices. You get a voucher to exchange for the actual tickets at the Venetian box office.

    Hope this helps.

Please email me if you need any further details.

  3. Gee here's a thought..... Why don't you ask your parents what they would like to see?????

  4. Is the Blue Man Group still in town? They were awesome.  So was Danny Gans, and Stomp. Given their age, they might appreciate Rita Rudner or Clint Holmes.   If you call the hotel box office, they will tell you about any locals only specials.  Many of the strip shows offer the discounts, but you have to ask for it.  Have Fun.

  5. I feel you on the Cirque du Soliel issue lol, the only one I would go see again is LOVE the Beatles one simply because its the Beatles, but that's just me.

I would recommend the Blue Man Group as it is a very interesting presentation to the senses both visual and auditory, with humor, good music, art..the show has everything, and its different.

If you can hold out for it maybe the Criss Angel show, but I think that's coming in September

I know alot of people between the ages of 50 and 60 who loved Jersey Boys, I don't know personally because I have not seen it, but again everyone in my family and friends that I have talked to who's seen it loved it.

I really like Penn and Teller...I'd recommend that to anyone

Elton John's gonna be there in October, Ive seen him recently and he still sounds great

Ive heard from friends that Carrot Top is funny, but I just dont know about that lol

  6. Ignore Terri!!!!   I would take them to see the Blue man group or Mamma Mia. Look at the link below.
