  1. dressage, jumping, maybe? im not sure, depends

  2. You could show in tons of shows - just not a friesian show!  You can show in local open shows.  You groom them to their breed standard and friesians are always expected to keep their mane long and have feathers.  If you're a kid, you could give 4H a try - they'll offer some classes for you and give you an easy way to get started.

Your horse most appropriately would fit into a dressage show though.  Friesians are often seen in the dressage world and do well.  Check out the USDF website and see the shows around you.  Dressage is about training the horse - it starts out with walk-trot patterns and then eventually you move up to flying lead changes every stride and absolutely amazing things.

    Best wishes!

  3. There are a lot of shows where she does not have the be registered.  Their are open shows where you can do hunter on the flat with her.  You can also teach her some dressage as friesians are very good at that.  You can do whatever you want and get your heart set on.  I do not know your age but there are always 4H shows almost everywhere around the country and they are nice small shows to get started.  You do not have to be in 4H and you can also be an adult (at least at our 4H shows you can)

  4. choose any show as long it is locally. I know that thier was a draft i showed with my one friend and we didnt do his feathers.. we did do his mane though Its 100% up to you what you want to do as far as looks if you keep the mane make sure that it is totally knot free and same with the tail..
