  1. who told you you cant ride w/ them? is there any kind of class you cant ride with them in?

  2. They are only stirrups!!! you should not be penalised for it! they are for your own safety really. You can enter any class with them, but if you were aiming for bigger county shows then some standard or bent stirrups will be fine. The bent stirrups act on the same principle as the peacock stirrups and stop your feet getting stuck.

  3. you should be fine.

  4. if you are doing jumpers, you are fine for everything. if you show hunters, most schooling shows allow them, but if you are doing rated, i would not use them in anything BUT children's classes (short stirrup, walk trot, etc.) and for stuff like dressage or cross country, im not totally sure. you can buy safety stirrups that look like real ones. i think they are more expensive though.

  5. You can ride at local level in those irons, no problem.

Under no circumstances should you be penalised. After all they are safety irons.

  6. those are also called break-away stirrups and what do you ride? are you a hunter or a jumper or dressage...? idk what class or the level of the circut your riding in so its too hard to tell you.

  7. you can usually enter any class. but ask at the registration desk

  8. For a local level show you should be able to ride in any class with them, shouldn't matter. :)

  9. They're not a problem. I'd get something a little more posh looking if you were aiming for HOYS or Olympia, but there's nothing wrong with them for local showing.

Enter what you like, and enjoy yourself!
