today i was humiliated in school that i yet to believe.as i failed in class test , ma'am punished me by forcing me to stand-up on the bench for entire period. what a silly---a 17 yr gal being punished like a child.

  1. Yes, I think you should protest.  I also think you should learn to spell.


  2. I think you should notify the school principal/dean, whatever you have.

    Teachers have no right to do these things. Grades are confidential and teachers cannot tell other students about them. What your teacher did is unacceptable, because she gave away to the class that you did poorly and not only that but she just has no right to do it!

  4. Maybe 17 year old who can't spell or capitalize their I should be punished.

  5. First, learn to spell, capitalize, and form a sentence.  Second, perhaps you acted like a child.  Taking a chair away is by no means the most embarrassing punishment.  

    Is this a common punishment in your school?  Is it something this teacher has done for years?  And, most importantly, will you put the effort into actually studying for your next test?

    If you really feel like you were singled out unfairly, get your parents involved.  Otherwise, quit whining and do your work next time.
