What shuold I do? Help!

I'm 13 and I write music. Like I make beats then write lyrics. I almost have enough for a cd. I sent my music to a record company, and they didnt like it, so i said forget them. Do you think it would be a good idea for my to make my own cd. Like record it all myself, and burn it to cd's. If you think its a good idea just say yes. If not tell me what i should do.

yes.. and also you need to send your music to radio stations.. and download some songs to youtube to get your name out there!! the more people know you... and like your music.. the better chance you have at getting some sort of record deal... and just because one company doesn't like your music... dont give up!! stay focus and determined when you have a dream!!

If you're 13 and you hate school then I am worried for you. Even if you do hate it, even if it does suck, do NOT quit. That would be like cutting off your arm or your leg. . .or your head.

Actually I think school does suck for most 13 year olds. . .I didn't mind  studying but I was never popular, never got much out of it socially (jr high or high school). College is the most fun, and you can't go to college unless you graduate.

Anyway, keep going w your music and don't give up on that either.
