We're going in mid to late July. We have been a few times but not in 20 years - and this is first trip for kids. They are pretty curious and are interested in many things - and woud be interested short doses of musuems, artifacts, and cool historical old buildings/palaces/places. Would the open top double decker be a good idea to see a bunch of places - while doing only a few in depth things considering our short visit?

We're definitely set on Tower of London and London eye- and probably Madam Tussauds, Natural History Museum. Thanks!

  1. the tour bus will be great - also some of the attractions, including tower of london you can get 2 for 1 if you use keep your train tickets.  Also take a boat trip to Hampton Court - it's a fabulous day out

  2. St Pauls Cathedral had quite an exhausting but interesting (a bit scary) flight of stairs to the top of its dome and the views are awesome. They will also enjoy climbing the Lions of Trafalgar Square

Also the British Museum is pretty cool and free.

  3. You've picked a great choice so far with the London eye and the panoramic view. The natural history museum has always been my favourite place to go in London (so much to see!) Just a 3 minute walk from the London Eye is an aquarium they usually have a special thing going on their, it is a great place to take the kids (I'm sure they would like the shark tank!)
