Go to war?  There really isn't a contest.  Scorpio is the stronger of the two.  Here is why.

Scorpio is a fixed sign.  Fixed signs (Scorpio, Taurus, Leo, Aquarius) have the perseverance to carry out any task he or she puts their mind to, and very stubborn beliefs.  Scorpio will wage war about anything they feel passionate about until they drop dead.  Especially if they were hurt or wronged in any way.  

Gemini is a mutable sign (mutable signs are Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius and Pisces).  Mutable signs prefer to adapt themselves to situations, not a fight dragged out fight to the death, like a fixed sign.  At best, it gives Gemini less emotional baggage, and at worst can make them seem wishy-washy. (My Gemini best friend once told me that she can't stay mad at anyone, after she goes to bed and then wakes up in the morning, she can't remember why she is mad, though she remembers the event that made her mad clearly.)

As to what sign is stronger physically, I'd say, which ever sign spends more time in the gym pumping iron.  Lol!  That could go either way!

I'm a Cancer, Moon in Sag and both Venus/Mercury in Gemini. But in general, they are brilliant people and to be quite honest, I don't think they'd lower themselves to get on Scorpio's level anyhow. I have debated with Scorpio's in the past and my words alone were enough (having my Mercury in Gemini) Their emotions got the better of them and I personally, wouldn't be so immature as to take it any further than a simple debate! lol, unless you really are asking for it :p lol, nah.. but that is my opinion, everyone's different. And not every Scorpio may be kniving, I just haven't met any that aren't, yet.. lol.

Well Gemini actually. The symbol of Gemini in the first place is the two twins Romulus and Remus. They are the real symbol for Gemini. But Gemini's don't even need to fight to defeat someone. They can bring someone down by words alone. Fighting is a last resort and Gemini's are light on their feet and very energetic so scorpio doesn't stand a chance.

They are greek warriors so that makes Geminis warriors at heart along with Aries.
