What signals you that a person is displaying affectations?

Affectations = behavior that is not natural to the person...

How do you know

when something unexpected happens(catches them by surprise), or during a stressful encounter there true nature shine's through.

         Sometimes they might smile too much, just watch them from the corner of your eye. It is hard to keep up a false persona. Just most people are too trusting and don't notice when there real persona shine's through.
