What signs are traditionally overachievers/ underachievers of the zodiac?

well... to sound boring, trite, and unoriginal, all signs are both over and under achievers in some areas...

I think every sign has its successful people and s***w ups.

For example, I know one Capricorn who is a very successful business man, while my brother, also a capricorn, is a complete s***w up in life, Alcoholic, drug addict, never was able to live ny himself with out getting evicted, and so on.

What a sign really says about an individual, is what is the best way for that person to achieve, and in a very broad way, what that person would be most successful in.

With that said, It all depends on the individual, regardless of what sign they are.

Overachievers: Virgo, Leo, Taurus, and Capricorns

Underachievers: Cancer, Pisces, and Gemini

(They just let things slide and dont expect anything)

I agree with Naomi in saying that the overacheivers tend to be the FIRE and EARTH signs...while the underachievers appears to be the WATER and AIR signs..

However keep in mind alot of what you're saying also depends on the person' overall natal chart. Especially their Mars sign, which implies HOW they get what they want.

I say the fire and earth signs are more focused in what they do.

The air and water signs are spending too much time thinking and planning to really get what they want.

It's not to say that nobody can acheieve anything. But the combiniation of your natal chart will induce some sort of achieving sign in it.

All the signs are overachievers for different things, i think...

Earth signs (Taurus, Cap and Virgo) are over achievers when it comes to money-related things, success in professional career.

Fire signs (Sag, Aries, Leo) are over achievers in getting attention and being adventurous, travel, social scene etc. (they are restless and need this kind of stimulation to keep going). Thats mainly what they will strive for.

Water signs (Scorpio, Pisces, Cancer) highly want to over achieve in personal relationships and comfort, its what they need and will do anything to achieve this more than anything else.

Air signs (Aquarius, Libra, Gemini) are over achievers in their thoughts, visions, ideas. They tend to need to be free in mind, body and soul, and thats their main driving force.

Ugh, not this again....Anybody can be an overachiever or underachiever based on how hard they're willing to work. Your Sun sign will not determine the choices you make. I know people of all signs that fall into both categories. I have plenty of Capricorn friends that are lazy as heck and don't get anything done, as well as some that are workaholics. The whole chart plays a role, and free will is still the most important thing.

I can't tell you about the other signs, but I can say that I'm a Libra, and I am extremely ambitious and overachieving. I work hard towards my goals, and always need to be at the top.

I agree with the overachievers,but I have to add there Aquarius and maybe Sag.

Underachievers will just hurt people.
