What site can I look at for places to rent in Australia??...?

I live here in Canada and I want to move there...

Are most place there ..rent per week?...Why are they so much??...anyone know a good site to look at?..

Most of the people I know who rent pay weekly.

You can still find cheap enough rent,it all depends where your willing to live to save on rent.

I have friends that live about an hours drive from Melbourne city centre and they pay under $200 a week rent for a 3 bedroom house,and  they commute to Melbourne and back for work by train.

This site lets you look for renal properties all over Australia. Most places are pay rent per week, but you usually sign a lease for either 6 months or 12 months at a time.

Soo, here is an rental property in the middle of the city (bisbane, QLD) i am using this area as an example because i know the area.

Its pertty much a standard 3 bedroom place. In the heart of the city, so its eay to get to work, great for night life and basically prime real estate. Thats why they charge $1500 pw.

on he other hand, this is a rental property about 45 minutes out of the city, also a 3 bedroom. And its really quite easy to get into the city by train or car if you wished, but its not in the Heart of the "city".

Yes its, $260 pw over $1200 per week less than the one in the city!!!

Its not all tat expensive if you decide to stay away from the big cities. Especially if you share with a friend that woul half that to $130 per week and if you can fill all three bedrooms then thats like $86 per week between the 3 people.
