Pistols range from average handgun to best of handguns.

Rifles, and shotguns range from mostly new, to slightly used.

  1. Online works for some things - not so much for firearms.

Your best bet to look up gun prices is to either start a collection of the 'Shooters Bible' and buy back copies off EBay, or, visit your local library.  Do not discount the library - every library usually carries them.

It is very important to know what a firearm's list price was when manufactured - and - what accessories or options were available.  You do not want to pay top dollar+ for a name brand firearm only to find out it was the bottom of the line for that model.  Most used firearms are highly overpriced - or missing important items that would make it worth the asking value.

    Hope this helps

  2. www.gunbroker.com

  6. gunbroker is great and all there gun are in very good care i would pick them eveyday of my life i have got 7 gun from them and they were taken good care of

  7. I've found the prices on the auction sites to be too expense.

For new prices look at impactguns.com.

This is a very realistic price at the big box stores.

Or just look at the manufacturer's website and take 20% off of the MSRP. I wouldn't pay a penny more than that new.
