  1. goodwill

  2. You might want to ask the shelter you were in, they usually have that type of information. Sorry to hear about the boyfreind thing and I hope you can get your baby something, just remember if its from you, no matter what the gift is, its special.

  3. besides toy, because what I really think your baby needs is a home and loving family. Try Craigslist.com it's sorted by cities and even has a section called free stuff. You might have to rifle through some junk but it's better than shelter c**p. Besides your priorities are mixed up along with your internal calender. It's july, go do some free sh*t like public pools, parks, ect...

  4. Personally I think with all you have going on in your life right now, thinking about Christmas for a baby who is probably too young to even know what's going on, in JULY is the last thing you should be worried about.

You said "I was" living in a shelter, meaning you now live elsewhere?  You should be thinking about getting a decent place to live, if you don't already have one. You need a job, a sitter or daycare, food, clothing, money to pay rent and utilities...

But..since you didn't ask that, and because I'm a mom as well and it would make me sad to know my child had to go without something... I will tell you to call your local Red Cross, Salvation Army and churches. These organizations offer tons of help, from food and clothing to help with living expenses and yes, even Christmas toys. I doubt you'll have a whole lot of luck in JULY, but you should try. Also, go to toysfortots.org and click on the "Request" link to sign up. I also know that some stores have Christmas trees with paper ornaments that shoppers can pick up. Each ornament has a child's name, gender, age and toy wish. People can choose your child and get her a gift. Good luck!
