What sites can inform me what about Germany??

Question

I am moving to schweinfurt, Germany but of all the internet sites I've looked at it's all tourism or military related. I'm going to be staying on post, yes, but I would like to know what all is there in that city and school options and ect. Anyone know any useful sites that would help me to be better prepared for what I will or will not be close to??

Some  of  the  pages  might  be  in german . I don't know  if you can  read  german  . That  is  my  first advice  .  Try  to  learn  the  language  because  then  you  get  more  "insider " knowledge  about your future  city . even  almost  everybody  speeks  at least a  little  english.

i was born and raised in Germany  ,just recently  moved  to the  USA

it is a  very  safe  and  absolutly not dangerous  area  . so there  will  be  no  places  that you  should  not  go.
