What size Amp do you recommend?

What I have:

(2) 12" MTX Thunders

they have:

Power Handling: 900 Watts (Pair)

Power Handling: 450 Watts (RMS Pair)

Power Handling (RMS): 225 Watts (Each)

4 Ohm

I'm not a 17yr old bass pounding fiend so these subs are enough for me. But I'd like the right amp to push them.

I currently have a cheap-o 4 channel 600w Amp w/ built-in x-over that keeps overheating. (Should I keep the x-overs off?) Anyway.... I want another one.

Any suggestions on size, channel, and brand?

err, well i'm not that old, and i don't know much about that ****..

but my mom has PA speakers and she has the brand !JBL and it never over heats or anything like that and it's loud as **** [x

Power Handling: 450 Watts (RMS Pair). I haven't heard the other two, but my friend's got this amp and it works really well.
