What size and type of snowboard and boots should i buy?

i am a 172cm tall female weigh 58kg. i have been snowboarding for 2 seasons now and have fell in love enough to want to buy myself my own board and boots. The problem is that i have no idea where to start, so i was hoping someone could give me a guideline on what i need and what type to get?

i would go burton hands down totally worth the money that gear lasts forever

it kinda depends on what you're doing. park? freeride? deep powder? all of the above? unless you're doing powder, you shouldn't really get anything bigger than a board that comes up to your nose. i would say about a 150cm board would be good. and find something that gives your toes and heels a little overhang, but obviously not too much.  just give me an idea of what you do on the mountain.
