Question:

What size and type of wakeboard should i buy??

i weigh about 95 lbs. i am 15. i am about 5'1-5'3. please help

  1. You need 2 try a 121 board the maximum weight capacity is 105 lbs so if ur planing on gaining weight I would hold off or buy a REALLY cheap board. Try Ebay for cheap boards and go to WakeWorld.com to find details on the boards like how much pop and riding ability it has. You can also try a jr board they a fairly inexpensive


  2. The smallest board you would want is 121cm. My advice would be to get a 130-134cm board, so you can grow into it. Just don't go too big. A board that is to big will be easier to get up on, but will feel bulky and heavy when you go to jump the wake.(I.e. Don't buy anything near 140cm)

    If your just starting out then a continous rocker, with easy rails would be the way to go.

    As far as bindings, more advanced bindings hold onto your feet more, and give more support, but are limited sizing wise(Like regular shoes). Begineer bindings are not as form fitting, feet will release easier, but the advantage is that they will encompass more shoe sizes.
