What size are your follicles when you ovulate?

Mine were 1.4 by 1.4 and the other was 1.8 by 1.7 I think. My RE said that in about 2 days they will be good size.

  1. 18mm or more is considered mature


  2. If they're watching them mature, they'll often wait for them to reach 20mm or so before the trigger.

  3. When you say 1.4 x 1.4 is it in mm? When I did mine, the doctor said it grows to 22 x 18mm before it collapses. Mine was 15 x 14mm on the first day, 18 x 19mm on the second day and 23 x 20mm on the third day of my folliculometry. It collapsed the day after that and my doc said eggs mature after about 22mm x something I cant remember right now. Baby dust to us all.
