ok ok I just really want to start making bentos but have no idea what size is right.. My normal lunch pack is 9"inches, nothing like bento food and I really don't know what size. i need the box to be light and not bulky but have enough room to fill it with food enough to fill me. What would you say is a reasonable size bento box, thanks.

P.s I'm buying off ebay

  1. Depending how much you eat, what you like - salad takes up more room than say, sashimi.

Bento box is nothing more than a lunch box - so usually, bigger is better, more variety is possible.  And look for something that has included (removable) small, sealed container.

  2. I like to use a two tiered bento box with one tier that is 300ml and the other is 250ml.  I like it because it keeps me from overeating, haha.

  3. yep, cause you can control yourself from excess eating.

  4. Hi Amy-Jo........You may be one of my contacts hun but haven't got a clue what you are talking about lol
