  1. 159 cm

  2. The rule is to get the board the same height as your chin so get as, as tall as your chin.

  3. in betweeen chin and tip of nose :]

  4. That sounds about right.

  5. Both weight and height are factors in determining what size board you get, and although you are quite tall you are quite light for your height so i would say a 160 would be too long for you. Also as you are a begineer rider you would be better off with a small board as it will be easier to control and learn the basics on. Go for something around a 156, and i agree with the guy above that you would be better off with a wide board as you have largish feet. Some good boards to check out that would suit you are Ride Fleetwood, Burton Bullet and Nitro Revolt wide. Good luck with the riding.

  6. I started with a 159 then dropped to a 156 this year.  I'm the same height and weight as you, but have a size 13 boot.  You really should look into getting a wide board so your feet don;t hang off.  If you can;t find a wide board that you like, then Palmer and Burton make risers.

Here's the updated model of my first board.  Mine was the 05 Nitro Revolt

For this year, I got a Santa Cruz Largo 156 and a Twinza J Fish 159 for powder.

Check The House. I think they have the largest selection of wide boards
