What size bolts to use on chevy 350 to attach it to the engine stand?

There are 4 arms that reach from the engine stand, but i dont know what size bolts connect it to the chevy 350 engine. help

  1. the bolts you need are 3 inch long 3/8 inch dia. ,best to use a grade 8 if you are going to be turning the engine very much


  2. They're 3/8 X 16 x whatever length fits your engine stand. They should stick through the stand by about 3/4 in, and as Gary N said, use grade 8 bolts.

  3. they are 1/2 inch standard bolts

  4. the same size bolts that attach the tranny to the motor just longer.
