  1. 10mm My Husband says depends on the length of the run from mains to shower

  2. With respect - if you have to ask should you be doing it?

  3. I have same Kw shower. I used 10mm twin core and earth. But I got a sparky in to check my wiring and wire it to the consumer unit......I won't touch them. Previous bloke said should u be fitting it if u have to ask and i would have to agree with him. It won't cost the much if you feed all the cables so all the sparky has to do is connect to shower/switch and consumer unit when all wiring is in place.

One previous replyer mentioned it loses power over distance and it does so the bigger the better.

  4. Absolute Minimum of 10mm,

16mm if through insulation/ long way from unit/ with other circuits...

  5. 10mm twin and earth

  6. It is now LAW in the UK, on new wiring for electric showers for the wiring to be 10mm, and that can take up to a 10.5kw shower

  7. 10mm twin and earth.
