  1. for a 15 inch a 40 gallon BREEDER is the absolute minimum really the appropriate size for a beardie 15+ inches is a 4x2x2 foot enclosure. And I built one from scratch for my beardie and it was far cheaper than purchasing a glass aquarium.

he was in a 55 gallon when i got him and he was miserable

They have no room to turn around and run about

  2. i would say 40-50 galon

  3. 55 gal atleast

  4. 40-55 gallon tank.  They grow to be about two feet long head to tail so even larger would be better so they can have room to run around and stuff.  but yea the absolute smallest you can have is 40 gallons which is about 18 by 36 inches.

  5. Depends on how long he want's to grow his beard!

  6. My baby is just about 13" long and we currently have him in a 4'x2'x2' tank.

  7. well i have a 15.5 inch. long and he is in a 40 gallon.

    for a baby least i'd say a 10 gallon. Then get a 20 gallon.

    how big?

  8. i like to see them in a 55 gallon but a 40 gallon is good too dont waste money just go with the 55 or 40 gallon

  9. The larger the better.  You cannot get a proper heat gradient--warm on one side and cool on the other--in anything less than a 40 gallon breeder.  My guy is in a 75 gallon and I wish it was larger.
