Question:

What size cage is good for mice?

i wanna get 2 female mice, and i was wondering what size cage would be good for them (comfortable, but not too big). also, any other tips concerning cages would be helpful. thanx!

  1. Kierstie pretty much covered this... but an aquarium is pretty much the best cage for small rodents. I've kept all my mice, hamsters, and gerbils in aquariums and they lived for years in a happy environment. Personally I don't like those kind of cages like in the picture, just because they don't look safe. Aquariums are your best bet they're cheap, (like Kierstie said) and they're very easy to clean.   2. get yourself a ten gallon tank from walmart, they are ten bucks and a screen top. They will have PLENTY of room.

    You can also get a hamster cage, more expensive but smaller. a hamster home would be ok for 2 mice and the wire spacing would be good so they couldnt escape.

  3. i don't really think mice are good pets they are small shy and hard to get a hold of have you considered a rat or a hamster?
