What size cage...?

...for a Senegal parrot? i have one that housed my 2 parakeets w/ plenty of room to fly around...will that be ok...keep in mind it will only be in there at night or if a have to go to the store, if i am home he will be out!

It needs to be big enough that he can fully spread his wings.

The cage should be it's castle, a nice big area where it can flutter about, eat, play with toys and have fun.

On a website it says for a senegal the minimum is  36X20X20 in

Hi the cage needs to be big enough for toys and he needs to be able to spread his wings without hitting the cage or his toys ... Personally I would get a bigger cage the bigger the better he is going to have to live in it ... Also Senegals are very active birds so make sure he has lots to keep him busy... Good Luck !!!

I believe that is too small for a Senegal. Parrots need large cages...it is their home. kjl
