What size cage should I have for 3 Parakeets?

Thank you to all who answered my question about the what size cage I should have for my 3 keets. Do you know where I can get a cage that will not brake the bank?

a cage thats big enough for them to fly around and get some exersize

Also make sure that two sides of the cage have horizontal bars so the birds can climb easlily.  Parakeets love to climb around.

When it comes to bird cages, the rule is the bigger the better.  For three parakeets, get a cage that is at least 30" wide.  It's more important to have a wide cage than a tall, skinny cage.  Birds can utilize the space more efficiently with a wide cage.  Also make sure the bar spacing is about 1/2". Too large of spacing between the bars is dangerous since the birds can get their heads stuck.
