What size clippers for a haircut cuts it the smallest?

It depends on the brand of clippers you use but in any case for the closest hair cut you do not use any attachment you go bare blade.

Commercial clippers will leave about 0.5 mm (1/50th of an inch)

Professional clippers like oster 76 or Whal balding clippers will leave between 0.1 mm to 0.2 mm (1/250TH to 1/125Th of an inch)

if u want it as close as you can to the skin then u can use the detailers,edgers....but if u dnt you can use the clippers and close the blade all the way down,,,

a zero which is no clipper guard leaves like a 5 aclock shadow. a one is 1/8 inch a 2 is 1/4 inch and up
