What size clothes does an average 9yr old boy wear?

I would probably say between a 10 & 14.  But every child is different.  I have a 9 year old daughter who wears a 12 and shes a little above average for her age.  She's not fat or anything, shes very active, she just has a bigger bone structure. Like me!

Tough question as average also varies from nationality... anyway, if you buy children size... they should have size by age... that is the average children size... if you are buying adult... i think small or X-small.. should fit...

in general a 9. But anywhere from 8-10 is also okay

My son is 9 and he wears size 8-10 or m-boy.  He is average size in his class.  So  I say depends on kids size.  It may vary from 8-12.

If you went by average then they say a size above their year in age so that would be a 10.  on a lot of things you can't go by the size though as some clothes are mad bigger and some smaller.  My son is 8 and wears a 10 in Levi's but an 8 in Carhart jeans because of the way they are made.  In most shirts he wears a 10-12 except for Old Navy and in them we get a 14.

My son and nephew are both 9yr olds.

Son wears 8/10 jeans(reg w/adjustable waist or slim, but long) and 10/12 shirts (likes them a little big--but dress shirts are 8/10

Nephew wears 8/10 reg  for both

They are both considered avg.

my boys usually wear a size bigger then there age so I would say a 10 BUT they are both tall and slim so short husky maybe a 8 .........my oldest is 10 and in a 12 and my youngest is almost 6 and is a 7 hope this helps :-)
