What size cranks should my friends son(6 yrs sprocket) be riding??? BMX RACING..?

i was just wondering what size should he be running he's running a 165cm at the moment and i think thats a little bit to big so could anybody give me a rough idea on wat size cranks he should be running

Since your son and bike combo are so light, I would run a really short crankarm, maybe we can learn from the roadies on spin comfort! I say short arms and a tall gear.

Check out the crank charts on several of the bmx retailer websites.  It's a pretty standard chart and works for most people. It's set up based on leg length.   Look in the FAQs/Tech section at http://www.danscomp.com and you'll find it there...it should help.  Some people vary a little from the chart based on their own preference or experience, but it's pretty much spot on for most people.
