What size curtains do I need?

I have 1 window 84cm and one 1mtr. To fit curtains do I double this?

When sellers list for eg:- 58" wide, does that mean each curtain is 58 inches or the pair add up to 58. Sorry to be a dunce.

Yes it means each curtain, generally you go one and a half times the curtain pole length or double if you want really full looking curtains

You need double the width of the window for really nice curtains.  When sellers list 58" wide they mean each curtain.
