What size dirt bike do i need?

i'm 5'7 and 125lbs and im looking for a 2 stroke i think either an 85cc or a 125cc not sure

In the dirt, more is better AND much too much is better than more than enough ! Ride!

The 125 is the right size I think. It'll be easier to ride as it'll be less peaky (relatively speaking) and the frame will fit you better.

Besides, minis suck ;-)

i would get a 125cc like a kawasaki kx 125cc i had one and it ran great and when i had it i was about your size

Go to a shop and sit on a couple. You want to be able to put 1 foot flat on the ground without having to slide off the seat. If the 125 is too big and you are buying second hand look for a big wheel 80.... they are a bit smaller than a 125 but much bigger than a standard 80

Personally I would get a 250, they are the same size as a 125 but have more power, and believe it or not are easier to ride and to learn on as you don't have to flair the clutch as much to get power out of it.

I can't remember how big I was when I got my first bike but I was 13 and it was a CR250....
